According to the Special Adviser to the President on Media and
Publicity, Reuben
Abati, President Goodluck Jonathan has set up a three-man panel to
investigate the N225million armoured car scandal involving aviation
minister, Stella Oduah.
Mr Abati said the panel will be chaired by the immediate past Head of
Service, Sali Bello and will include the National Security
Adviser, Colonel Sambo Dasuki, and Air Vice Marshal Dik Iruenebere. The
panel is to find out why the cars were bought and whether the
procurement of the cars followed due process
or not. Stella Oduah was conspicuously absent at today's Federal
Executive Council meeting.
